This is a one of a kind hand painted piece of wearable art made by artist/designer Cassidy Hoban. This piece is an homage to the infamous 8 Ball Jacket designed by Cassidy’s father Michael Hoban for North Beach Leather. The original 8 ball jacket is in the 50 years of hip hop fashion FITM museum in NYC and the Smithsonian museum in Washington DC. The 8 ball jacket was immortalized by Jay-Z, Seinfeld, A Tribe Called Quest and Dapper Dan. This hand painted homage has legendary legacy with 2 generations of hip hop design and a bloodline thinker than leather behind it.
